Orange County’s 10 Best Date Spots ?
Whether you’re going on a first date or looking to switch things up with your longtime companion, here are the coolest places in Orange County to have a date
The California Scenario
Neighborhood: South Coast Metro
In 1979, Henry Segerstrom, developer of South Coast Plaza, commissioned famed artist Isamu Noguchi to design a public garden near two of Segerstrom’s office towers.
Located across the street from South Coast Plaza, Noguchi’s sculpture garden is still around today. It’s a beautiful collection of fountains, boulders and stones — an abstract metaphor of California’s diverse natural environment. The garden is an Instagram-worthy spot for an afternoon stroll.
PRO TIP: After your stroll, grab a bite at Chef Amar Santana’s Vaca, a new restaurant featuring Spanish-inspired cuisine and tapas.
You can find the California Scenario at 611 Anton Blvd in Costa Mesa.
Neighborhood: Corona Del Mar
Located above Corona Del Mar Beach, Inspiration Point is the perfect place to view the sunset in a picturesque setting. There’s a giant grassy knoll, where you can spread a giant blanket and enjoy the view.
PRO TIP: Bring a picnic basket full of your favorite foods. Your date will be a guaranteed success.
Inspiration Point is located near the intersection of Ocean Blvd & Heliotrope Ave in Newport Beach.
Anaheim Packing House
Neighborhood: Downtown Anaheim
The Anaheim Packing House features more than 20 eateries and bars, with live music every weekend. Not only is this a great place to grab dinner, but it’s an overall cool place to hang out. Housed in a restored historic building, the Packing House features indoor gardens and rustic fixtures. There’s a real hip feel to the Packing House, which will score you big points with your significant other.
PRO TIP: There’s an intimate, miniature theater that seats four people showing classic films, hidden towards the street-side entrance to the Packing House. #OldSchoolNetflixandChill

When you take a stroll with your significant other through the 26-acre site, you’ll find beautiful gardens, gigantic trees, koi ponds and colorful flowers. Not a spot for date night, because the Arboretum closes at 4:30, but is open 7 days a week. We would like to say this is a way better place to take your date than the Titan Student Union food court.
