A man is critically injured after he was shot twice on Tuesday evening in Santa Ana, according to The Orange County Register. Authorities found a man in his 30s sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with two gunshots wounds to his upper body.

The shooting occurred on the 1300 block of South Bristol Street around 6:30 p.m., according to Santa Ana police Cmdr. Matt Sorenson.

“It appears to be a car-to-car shooting,” Sorenson told The Register.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. No description of a suspect or the other vehicle was available.

No suspects were arrested. It is unclear whether the attack was gang-related, said Sorenson.
