Santa Ana College

This is a picture of Santa Ana College in the late 1950s. To the bottom right, you’ll see the intersection of 17th St. and Bristol Ave. At this point, a few buildings and the athletic field had been developed at the college.

Believe it or not, there used to be a sugar factory in Santa Ana. This is a picture from 1956 of the Holly Sugar factory on East Dyer Road, near Grand Avenue. Today, that’s where the Embassy Suites lies.
